A Task sheet for projects to be completed around the church is available.  There won't be a scheduled "work day" for this.  Please consider choosing a task from the list and working on this on your time schedule.

 

Triple C meets each month on the first Tuesday at 1:00 P.M..  They share a dessert, have a brief business meeting then play Bunco.  Everyone is invited to join. 

 

Women's Association meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 12:30 P.M.. 

 

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 A.M. every Sunday morning.  

 

Worship Service begins at 10:15 A.M. every Sunday morning.

 

The Sessions and Pastors of Sherrard Pres., Hamlet/Perryton Pres. and Gloria Dei will meet on Sunday, November 7, 2009 beginning at 5:30 P.M. at the Sherrard church.  Other local Presbyterian Churches have been invited to attend.  The purpose is for a follow up meeting to discuss ways that we might work together in some capacity.

 

The next meeting of the Session will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 in the Pastor's study beginning at 6:30 P.M..  The date change is due to the Presbytery meeting held the next day in Normal which won't end until 5:00 P.M..

 

Presbytery meeting will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Normal beginning at 1:30 P.M. on November 10, 2009.

 

Celtic Music Session and Celtic Vespers will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009.  The Session begins at 4:00 P.M. with the Vesper Service beginning at 5:00.

 

Annual Christmas Faire, December 5, 2009 beginning at 9:00 A.M..  There will be more than 100 Nativities on display plus food, crafts, a Grandma's Attic and drawings for prizes.

 

Annual Christmas dinner will be held following worship on December 20, 2009.
