This page gives us the opportunity to introduce the pastor
and staff members.
Drew D. Nagle is our pastor. He has been our pastor
since May,1989. Prior to serving here he was a pastor in Detroit, MI.
Pastor Drew is married to the Reverend Maura McGrath
Nagle. Maura and Drew have two daughters, Caitriona and Fiona. In
addition to his duties as pastor, Drew is active in the greater church. He attends the weekly prayer luncheons held
in Rock Island for pastors of all faiths. He takes an active part in the duties of the Presbytery of Great Rivers.
Drew is very active in the parent/teacher organizations at his daughters'
schools. He also leads the Illowa Community Dance Series-Contras, Squares and Circles with Maura. This group meets
monthly at Black Hawk State Historic Site. He is active in the Celtic groups.
Kent and Colleen Hessman are our custodians. They are very dedicated to their
profession.
Denise Nixon and Pam Putney are the Sunday School teachers. Both have attended
Gloria Dei all of their lives and are very dedicated to the youth of our church.
